Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Perhaps the highlight of the 2014 safari we led was the days we spent in Serengeti National Park.  Here are just a few of the highlights of our days there.

1. Spending an hour or so with a family of lions...the lioness searching for her cubs who were about a quarter of a mile away.
2. Being surrounded by the Great Migration with tens of thousands of animals as far as the eye could see...primarily zebras and wildebeests.  
3. Observing a mother cheetah and her five kittens. 
4. Flying over the Serengeti at daybreak in a hot air balloon
