![]() The second stop on the 2014 Tanzania safari that we escorted was Lake Manyara National Park. The highlight of our day at Lake Manyara was viewing the elephants pictured in this photo. There were four elephants who stopped to take a drink of water right near our vehicles. This is yet another reminder that we are NOT a cruise-only agency. We help clients book land-based trips all over the world including Africa, the South Pacific, Europe and Australia. Our first stop on this 10-day safari adventure was Arusha National Park. On the written itinerary it appeared it was going to be the least-scenic part of our journey...but we were pleasantly surprised! This photo of a tower of giraffes was just one of the many highlights of our day in Arusha National Park. (Yep, a group of giraffes is called a "tower".) This park is located just a short drive from the city of Arusha where our group spent the first two nights of our journey. Arusha is near Kilimanjaro Airport, a great starting or ending point for a trip to Tanzania. For a slide show of our favorite photos from this great day in Arusha National Park, Click Here |
